Description
Woodland camping, food and sauna
Woodland camping is available at Oak Howe when booked along with a one-day course/courses. We are offering this option separately as a trial this year as some people would rather not camp, or live locally and prefer to go home for the night. For those of you who have done courses before, the full weekend will feel very similar to existing weekend-long courses from Friday evening to Sunday afternoon.
The options for camping are:
Friday night, 7pm – 10am with a light supper provided, usually hearty soup with bread and cheese. Simple breakfast such as cereal and eggs, along with tea and coffee, will be available for you too make yourself in our camp kitchen on the Saturday morning.
Saturday night, 5pm – 10am. After a day of crafting you will be able to relax and enjoy our hand-built, wood-fired sauna with a spring-water fed plunge pool or a cold shower (depending on time of year). We will then have the cob oven ready for you to build your own pizza with a variety of toppings, before sitting around the fire or finding your own secluded spot for the rest of the evening. Simple breakfast such as cereal and eggs, along with tea and coffee, will be available for you too make yourself in our camp kitchen on the Sunday morning.
You can book both nights to make a full weekend.
