Description
Learn Ancient Tracking Skills Through Fun, Immersive Lessons and Games. The very fact that you are alive today means one of your distant ancestors was a skilled tracker and hunter. The ability to read the land, interpret wildlife tracks, and predict animal movement using our eyes and minds is one of humanity’s most unique survival skills — and it’s still just as relevant today.
Join us in the Lake District for a highly immersive wildlife tracking workshop, designed for adult nature lovers, adventurers, wildlife enthusiasts, trackers, and nature photographers. This workshop assumes no prior experience and is a fast, engaging way to learn how to interpret the hidden language of animal tracks and signs through hands-on learning and fun tracking games.
Whether you want to:
• Reconnect with the natural world
• Get involved in wildlife monitoring or ecotourism
• Develop practical tracking skills
• Or simply enjoy a weekend of outdoor fun in the Lake District
…this course is for you. The experience is deeply immersive and designed to inspire curiosity, awareness, and confidence in the field.
Part based on relaxed fun and games, part based on the principles of the internationally recognised CyberTracker system, this workshop is ideal preparation for anyone considering a future evaluation. During the weekend, we’ll aim to follow Red Deer trails, one of the most challenging and rewarding wildlife tracking experiences in the UK.

I can’t recommend this course enough. The amount of knowledge that the instructors had was beyond impressive, as was their ability to put it across to you. Added to that you get the expected Wild Human experience – great location and a relaxed and friendly team. These guys practically bend over backwards for you. It was just a brilliant experience. It’s as close to 5 stars as you can get in a Bushcraft course that involves a toilet trench :0)
